SurgeX® Announces Release
of the New SX1120 RT
The SurgeX SX1120 RT Series Mode® Pro surge suppressor and power conditioner is designed to provide guaranteed surge
protection and power conditioning for audio, video, and computer equipment. The single-space rack-mount 20 Amp unit
features Impedance Tolerant® EMI/RFI filtering circuitry and ICE® Inrush Current
Elimination® technology. The SX1120RT offers eight standard grounded AC receptacles on the rear panel, with six
of the receptacles switched, two always on and a front panel courtesy outlet.
The SX1120 RT is ideal for integrated power distro systems. Remote control connections are made via a rear-panel
Phoenix connector which allows the RT to be interconnected with the SurgeX SEQ, or additional RT units,
enabling the sequential power up/down of multiple system components. The confirmation signal output is a new
feature that can illuminate a remote LED for system status verification. SurgeX patented Series Mode Pro surge
suppression technology provides reliable protection, stopping multiple surges of up to 6,000V and unlimited surge
current, without producing ground contamination.
